Lombez is located in the South East of the department of the Gers, at 45 min from Toulouse and its airport and 40 min from Auch. The high speed train can be taken in Toulouse. Le village is situated 1H30 from the Pyrenees and 2 hours from the Mediterranean Sea and from the Atlantic Ocean.

The former centre of Lombez was closed by 2 city doors and bordered by the Save river and its canal. The principal building materials were: the clay for the rose bricks, wood for the half timbering houses. You can still discover them if you have a walk in the village. Around the former Sainte Marie cathedral of the 14th century, with its gothic bell tower, its organs set up in the 16th century and renovated in 1995, the town forms a half circle with its alleys, its half timbering houses, its covered market built with 16 square pillars, its wash-house...
Today, the village is much more bigger and welcome you to discover the wealth of its heritage.
